This camp covers an extremely wide array of broad topics that are essential to professional musicianship. Knowing these fundamentals often means the difference between a successful music career and a reluctant backup plan day job. Teachers will cover everything we were disappointed “they” never taught us about the industry.
Some of the topics covered will include: press kits, pitches, talent buying, advancing a show, stage plot + input list, door deals, split sheets, load-in procedures, how not to piss off the sound guy, gear teching and maintenance, how to properly sound check, artist management, booking, setting up a stage, running sound, creating and selling merch, and more.
Whether you’re an ambitious artist dreaming of a music career or just a casual weekend hobbyist, these are essential concepts and practices to ensure you get booked - and called back.
